John Knightbridge notes: “of Chemsford Green”. He was a London Barrister and Knighted in 1663. Coat of arms - British Museum / Bodleian Library

“Mentioned in grandmother (margaret) will 1618, father’s will 1640. Exor of mother’s will 1663 and brother’s will (John) 1677/8. Overseer of brother’s will (Richard) 1675 Clerk to one of the Secondaries in London in 1634 Chancery Proceedings 1654 describe him ‘of London’ 

Elizabeth Brooke died 26 August 1658 at Writtle. Daughter of Thomas Brooke Knight of Whitchurch.

They had one Child: Mary (Maria) who married a Godfrey Thacker. It's interesting in that both John and Richard Knightbridge in 1689 (One year after Anthony died), took Godfrey Thacker AND Mary to court over lands and the personal estate of the deceased Anthony Knightbridge.
